Barbara Jean (Henry) Hall

Barbara Jean (Henry) Hall, 73, of Vandalia, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at Boone Hospital Center.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, at the First Baptist Church of Laddonia.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. until time of service at the First Baptist Church of Laddonia.

Mrs. Hall was born on Aug. 12, 1947 in Calhoun, the daughter of William and Opal (Pinkston) Henry. On July 17, 1965, in Calhoun, she married Ernest Ray Hall.

Barbara enjoyed tending to the flowers in her flower garden. She and Ray spent time raising show rabbits and attending rabbit shows. Barbara began the hobby of scrapbooking to document the rabbit shows attended and the people they met. Barbara also spent her leisure time reading.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Kimberley Hall of Kansas City, Kristina Hall of Kansas City, Courtney Hall of Kansas City; one brother, Jerry (Glenna) Henry of Columbia; one sister, Carolyn (Larry) Luther of Columbia and one uncle Forrest (Iris) Pinkston of Calhoun.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William and Opal Henry.

The family requests memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of Laddonia, First Presbyterian Church of Bellflower, or Mexico Audrain County Library District. Memorials may be sent in care of Arnold Funeral Home, 425 S. Jefferson, Mexico, MO 65265.
