Van-Far took home a lot of medals from Thursday’s Eastern Missouri Conference meet.
The boys 4x100 relay team of Malik Douglas, Gage Gibson, Jaykob Green and Gaven Gaston finished second with a time of 46.40 to earn all-conference honors in Montgomery City, but several more events had Van-Far finish in the top six to medal.
For the boys, Gaston was fourth in the 200, Gibson was fourth in the 800, Garrett Hopke was sixth in the 1600, the 4x200 relay team of Gibson, Green, Evan Utterback and Gaston was fourth, the 4x400 relay team of Green, Haden Lynn, Hopke and Jean-Adyn Rich was sixth, Douglas was fifth in the long jump, and Evan Utterback was fifth in the shot put.
For the girls, the 4x100 relay team of Trinity Skwirtz, McKenna Engh-Hoffman, Kenya Jones and Ebony Fraction was fifth, and McKenna Engh-Hoffman was fourth in the javelin.
The Indians finished seventh with 41 points, and the Lady Indians were 11th with 10 points.
