Carolyn Sue Shuck, 63, of Thompson, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, at The Neighborhoods by Tiger Place in Columbia.

A visitation to celebrate her life was held from Thursday, Feb. 11, at Pickering Funeral Home.

Joseph M. Rickman Sr., 86, of Mexico, passed away in his sleep on Feb. 4, 2021, at his home in Mexico.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday Feb. 8, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Mexico. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial with military honors will follow at 1 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Jacksonville.

Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico is handling the arrangements.

Dale Lee Hunt, 81, of Mexico, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at Boone Hospital Center.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7, at the Auxvasse City Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jim Graham officiating.

Visitation is from 12 p.m. until time of services at the church.

The family has requested that masks be worn.

Dale was born on May 6, 1939, in Mexico, the son of John Lee and Evelyn (Pasley) Hunt. He married Judy Wright on Jan. 13, 1957, in Victoria Springs, Miss.

Vivian Gertrude Grooms, 75, of Centralia, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Centralia.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in South Fork Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Jeremy Allan Mahan

Jeremy Allan Mahan, of Rising Fawn, Ga. passed away on Nov 21, 2020 at the age of 37.

He was the second son of Patricia (Patty) Johnson Mahan and the late Walter Mahan. He was born at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla. on Sept. 12, 1983. He attended Ridgeland High School and at the time of his passing he was working as a security officer.

Gary Wayne Westbay, 77, of Centralia, passed away on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Avery conducting the service.

The family has requested that masks be worn.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Westbay was born on June 30, 1943 in Durham, N.C. the son of Calvert and Ruth (Bradley) Westbay. On Feb. 8, 1965, in Englewood, Calif., he married Sherry Lappi.

Mr. Robert Douglas Aird, of Columbia, passed away at his home surrounded by beloved family and loving caregivers on Jan. 28, 2021 at the age of 78.

Bob was born to parents Gordon Smythe Aird and Sybil Lorene Staples Aird on
May 15th, 1942 in Mexico. Bob was a phenomenal and extremely intelligent man with a huge heart, always ready to put a smile on anyone's face with a witty remark or joke. He was full of life and laughter and spread that to all those who surrounded him.

Mary Ann Lewis, 76, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, in Wellsville.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 4, at the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville. Visitation will be held from 5– 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Center.

David Alan Stuart, 61, of Laddonia, passed away Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021 at his home in Laddonia, after a seven month battle with cancer.

There will be no services.
