Funeral services for Gladys Marie Farnen, 81, of Centralia, will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salisbury. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Salisbury. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Patricia K. Kroninger, 75, of Quincy, Ill., died Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at 12:29 a.m. in Blessing Hospital.

Patricia was born May 2, 1945 in Mexico, a daughter of Edwin and Agnes Abele Seckler. She married Larry L. Kroninger on Oct. 20, 1962 in Tucson, Ariz. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2015.

Donald (Donnie) Gale Chatman

Donald (Donnie) Gale Chatman, age 58, of Vandalia, passed away at 2:25 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at University Hospital in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at the First Baptist Church of Vandalia. Pastor Samual Lee will officiate. Burial will be in the Vandalia Cemetery following the service.

A visitation celebrating the life of Donald (Donnie) Gale Chatman will be held at 9 a.m. until the time of service.

A celebration of life for Col. Caroline Lee Abshier, 59, Sturgeon, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021 at The Crossing Church (3615 Southland Dr.) in Columbia.

Col. Caroline Lee Abshier passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ben L. Oligschlaeger, 88, of Laddonia, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, at St. John's Catholic Church in Laddonia with Father Louis Dorn officiating.

Burial will be in Laddonia Cemetery with full military honors provided by American Legion Post 510. No visitation is planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Bienhoff Funeral Home.

Mr. Oligschlaeger passed away at 9:25 a.m. Jan. 5, at his home. He was born May 6, 1932 in Martinsburg, the son of John Anthony and Gertrude Matilda Schulen Oligschlaeger.

Carl Marion Lovelace

Carl Marion Lovelace, 75, of Morganton died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021. Born in Audrain County, on March 12, 1945, he was the son of the late Carl Wesley Lovelace and Katie Jane Williams Lovelace.

Carl was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Dana Corporation in 2008.

Carl is survived by his wife of 52 years, Virginia "Ginny" Lovelace; sons, Craig and Corey Lovelace; and sister, Mary Lou Woodward.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by an infant son, Chad Michael Lovelace.

Ina June Kahmke, 99, of Auxvasse passed away on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 at King’s Daughters Home in Mexico.

She was born on July 5, 1921 in Swaledale, Iowa, the daughter of the late Jessie and Mildred (Hudson) Henderson.

She was married on June 29, 1940 in Charleston, to Marvin “Joe” Kahmke, who preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1976.

Mary Lee Huss Beckett, 73, of Hixson, Tenn. passed away at her home on Jan. 3, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer, in the loving care of her sister Connie and brother-in-law, Ray Speck.

LaUna M. Whittaker, 99, of Mexico, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Graveside services will be on Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Zane Whorton conducting the service. All attending are required to wear a mask.

Mrs. Whittaker was born on Nov. 30, 1921 in Callaway County at the family home, the daughter of Charles and Marylee (Peery) Boswell. On July 7, 1937, in Fulton, she married Glenwood “Glenn” Whittaker.

Andrew Dale Dollens

Andrew Dale Dollens, 53, of Thompson, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at his home.
Andrew was born May 24, 1967, in Mexico, the son of Arthur Edward and Carol Mae (Sears) Dollens. He married Melanie Ann McAllister in Centralia, on Oct.19, 1996.

Andrew worked for Audrain County for 25 years with the road and bridge crew. The last three
years he was supervisor of the road crew. Andrew was also a cattle farmer.
