Shots fired after argument

An argument between people at neighboring homes on Saturday night led to wild shots being fired.

According to Mexico Public Safety Department officers, visitors to a home in the 1200 block of N. Olive Street in Mexico got into a verbal altercation with residents of a house next door around 11:30 p.m. The incident was over by the time officers arrived on the scene.

The visitors had also left. Officers report that as they drove away, one of them fired a gun several times in the general direction of the neighboring house. One bullet struck a parked car.
