The new year has already brought a positive change to the Audrain County Courthouse. After a month’s long search, the Audrain County Commission hired Audrain County resident Amber Hodde to fill the new human resources/risk management director position.
“This has been a need of the county for a number of years, based on the changing environment regarding human resources,” Audrain County presiding commissioner, Alan Winders said.
Hodde, a graduate of Van-Far, holds a bachelor’s degree as well as a master’s degree in business and human resources from William Woods University. She currently resides in Mexico with her family.
“We couldn’t be happier about finding an Audrain County resident to fill this new position,” associate commissioner, Tracy Graham said.
Hodde’s previous employment includes an extensive array of positions that handle many facets of the human resources industry. She has worked as a recruiter for AOB Products Company in Columbia, a benefits representative at Boone Hospital, and a human resources administrator with Spartan Light Metal Products.
“We are excited about Amber’s ability to bring such a high-level of expertise and experience to this new position,” associate commissioner Leslie Meyer said.
Hodde will begin her duties later this month.
