Andrew Dale Dollens, 53, of Thompson, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at his home.
Andrew was born May 24, 1967, in Mexico, the son of Arthur Edward and Carol Mae (Sears) Dollens. He married Melanie Ann McAllister in Centralia, on Oct.19, 1996.
Andrew worked for Audrain County for 25 years with the road and bridge crew. The last three
years he was supervisor of the road crew. Andrew was also a cattle farmer.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter of many animals. Andrew loved spending time with his family and boating at Mark Twain Lake. He also enjoyed Centralia Panthers football.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Melanie of the home; five children, Aonghus Dollens, Morghan Dollens, Connor Dollens, Laura Dollens and Lawrence “Mac” Dollens, all of the home; mother, Carol Dollens (Charlie) of Thompson; sister, Marie Elizabeth (Phil) Hamilton of Camdenton; brother, Thomas Edward (Kayla) Dollens of Stuart, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Edward Dollens; and brother-in-law, Lawrence McAllister.
