Anna Margaret 'Marge' Steelman

Anna Margaret Steelman, 83, of Mexico, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2020, at Pin Oaks Living Center.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Marge was born on Jan. 5, 1937 in Mexico, the daughter of Frank and Goldie (Wilson) Gentry. On Sept. 17, 1954 in Mexico, she married Billy Eugene Steelman. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1994.

Mrs. Steelman had been a member of Molino Baptist Church until it closed. She was a homemaker and an avid cookbook collector. Marge loved her family and was very involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives.

Survivors include three daughters, Kim Wieberg of Laddonia, Stephanie (Mike) Hildebrand of Mexico and Kelli (Todd) Schaeffer of Havana, Illinois; 14 grandchildren, Tom (Lisa) Dickerson, Jason (Heather) Dickerson, Amanda (Matt) Taylor, Steven (Joy) Wieberg, Heather (Lance) McAfee, Shawn (Becky) Wieberg, Summer (Brock) Williamson, Michele (Wayne) Wilburn, Richard (Hilary) Crum, Justin (Krissy) Bartels, Drew (Breanna) Bartels, Tawney Brewer, Shane Singleton and Dustin Mibbs; 36 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mary Hatfield, Marty Lauck, Sue Farris and Jean Perry; and one brother, Bobby Gentry.

In addition to her husband, Billy, Marge was preceded in death by two daughters, Ina Burton and Betsy Dailing; one granddaughter, Torrie Singleton; two sisters, Alice Carver and Hazel Wiecken; and one brother, Billy Joe Gentry.
