Some area teams learned who they would open the playoffs with.
Community R-6 and North Callaway each have assignments for their boys and girls teams and the same is true for Van-Far, Missouri Military Academy and Paris.
The Community R-6 girls (20-4, 8-1 CAC) play the winner of Glasgow and Madison as the No. 1 seed in the Class 1 District 10 Tournament at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 23 in Madison. The Trojans (13-12, 5-4 CAC) will face Columbia Independent (1-16) as the No. 3 seed in the Class 1 District 10 Tournament at 6 p.m. Feb. 20 in Glasgow.
The North Callaway boys (12-11) are the No. 3 seed in the Class 3 District 7 Tournament and will face New Bloomfield (1-22) in the first round at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at South Callaway High School in Mokane. The Ladybirds (13-10) will be the No. 3 seed in the Class 3 District 7 Tournament and face South Callaway (1-21) in the first round at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at South Callaway High School in Mokane.
The Van-Far boys (14-10) are the No. 2 seed in the Class 2 District 5 Tournament and will face Silex (2-17) at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20 in the first round in Sturgeon. The Lady Indians are the No. 5 seed in the Class 2 District 5 Tournament and will face Sturgeon (6-16) in the first round at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 21 in Sturgeon.
Missouri Military Academy (8-13) are the No. 5 seed in the Class 3 District 7 Tournament and will face South Callaway (12-12) in the first round at 6 p.m. Feb. 20 at South Callaway High School in Mokane. The Colonels lost 86-39 at South Callaway on Friday night.
The Paris boys (12-12) are the No. 4 seed in the Class 2 District 5 Tournament and will face Sturgeon (6-16) in the first round at 5 p.m. Feb. 20 in Sturgeon. The Lady Coyotes (6-18) are the No. 6 seed in the Class 2 District 5 Tournament and will face Clopton (12-11) in the first round at 6 p.m. Feb. 21.
