Unofficial results from the April 5 general municipal election have been announced, with 14,891 registered voters casting their votes - just over 10 percent of the registered voter population in Audrain County.
Here are those results for Audrain:
Mexico No. 59 School Board (3-year term)
Scott Nichols received 474 votes and Nicole Suzanne Jahn, 433, to prevail for two posts out of a field of three candidates. Heather DeMint followed closely behind, with 420.
Mexico No. 59 School Board (1-year term)
Kara LeAnn Clovis was unopposed for the one-year post, receiving 598 votes; there were 15 write-ins.
Van-Far R-I School Board Directors
With two seats available on the board, Dustin Jamal Holt (234) and Bryan Allen Evans (178) prevailed out of a field of three candidates. Dana L. Keller collected 121 votes.
Community R-6 School Board
Rhonda Curtis (128) and Daniel Schafer (114) received the most votes for two seats in the three-way R-6 race. Chuck Sommer received 30 votes.
Van-Far Ambulance Sub. Dist. 1 Director
Unopposed, Gary Stubblefield received 48 votes.
Van-Far Ambulance Sub. Dist. 4 Director
Daryl Jennings was unopposed, receiving 41 votes.
Audrain Ambulance Sub. Dist. 3 Director
Brian E. Pursifull was unopposed, earning 183 votes.
Audrain Ambulance Sub. Dist. 6 Director
Christy Donaldson edged out Jo Ellen Craghead, 43-36.
Tri-County Nursing Home Sub. Dist. 6 Director
Deborah Salois was unopposed, earning 187 votes.
Laddonia Farber Road Commissioner
Theodore Hoyt was unopposed, earning 109 votes.
Vandalia Mayor
Ralph G. Kuda Jr. was unopposed for mayor, getting 153 votes.
Vandalia Ward 1 Alderman
Larry J. Shaw was unopposed, receiving 52 votes.
Vandalia Ward 2 Alderman
Janet Turner was unopposed, receiving 35 votes.
Vandalia Ward 3 Alderman
John Weiser was unopposed, receiving 71 votes.
Laddonia Alderman
Two posts were open in the town of Laddonia, with Travis Lybarger receiving 46 votes, followed by Tresa Hodges, with 44; the pair will fill the seats. Also receiving votes were Glenn Jensen (22) and Kevin Charlton (18).
Mexico Councilman
Christopher Williams received 409 votes to fill the Mexico city council seat. Joshua Price had 98 votes.
Martinsburg Alderman Ward 1
Joshua Graver was unopposed, receiving 14 votes.
Martinsburg Alderman Ward 2
Robert Cope was unopposed, receiving 13 votes.
