Travis Blevins has been named as the Thunderbirds' head football coach. The veteran coach and North Callaway graduate has been serving as activities director for Mexico High School
Blevins replaces the retiring Don Boulware, another Thunderbird alumni.
“North Callaway welcomes coach Blevins back into the Thunderbird family and is excited for our student athletes to have the opportunity to excel under his leadership,” said superintendent Nicky Kemp.
Blevins’ spend eight years as head coach at Parkway South. He did a prior stint at North Callaway as defensive coordinator.
A native of Auxvasse, Blevins played quarterback at Southeast Missouri State, earning a degree in education.
