Jozelynn Bostick ran the offense and did much more than that for Centralia on Tuesday night.
The Lady Panthers defeated Boonville 52-34 at home behind Bostick’s 16 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and three steals.
For Centralia (12-3), Morgan Ross followed with 12 points, four rebounds and two steals, and Annie Robinson had 10 points. Boonville (5-6) was led by Zoe Davis’ 18 points.
The Lady Panthers led 14-8 after the first quarter then its lead increased significantly at halftime to 33-17.
Centralia hosted Marceline for its Courtwarming on Friday night prior to beginning its Harrisburg tournament stint at 6 p.m. Monday against Fulton (4-11). The boys (7-7) face Harrisburg (11-4) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the first round.
