BRENDA S. PARRISH
Brenda S. Parrish, 68, Centralia, MO passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico, MO surrounded by her family. She was born October 20, 1954, in Mexico, MO the daughter of the late George and Mary Jane (Bryan) Parrott. She was first united in marriage to Charles Darnell and later to Richard Parrish.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four sons Dewayne Parrott and his wife Michelle of Centralia, MO, Joe Parrish of Mexico, MO, Chris Parrish of Auxvasse, MO and Louis Shane Parrish of Mexico, MO; one daughter Tamara Clark and her husband Blayne of Auxvasse, MO; six sisters Pat Berrey of Centralia, MO, Mary Helen Chitwood of Mexico, MO, Cindy Parrott of Mexico, MO, Pam Turner of Mexico, MO, Jackie Hannon of Mexico, MO and Katy Perry of Mexico, MO; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, three sisters Linda Gentry, Donna Thessler and Ann Parrott; one brother Butch Parrott preceded her in death.
Brenda first worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide, then at the Help Center in Mexico, MO and finally as a homemaker. She enjoyed animals, raising dogs, sewing, camping, fishing and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Brenda was a life-long Elvis fan, and she would plan a trip to Graceland every year.
A celebration of life will be 4:00 pm Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
