The Bulldogs scored 13 runs on just seven hits as Mexico pounded Moberly 13-2 on Monday.
Jesse Fennewald and Josh Forbis were responsible for much of the onslaught in the team’s road win. Each drove in three runs and Fennewald collected three hits. He also turned in a solid outing on the mound.
When Fennewald and Forbis came to the plate, the bases were generally stocked with Bulldogs. Ty Prince scored three times, as did Daeye Miller.
Miller’s patience at the plate was rewarded as he walked three times.
Landon Kleinsorge crossed the plate twice.
The 4-5 Bulldogs were scheduled to host Fulton on Thursday. They travel to North Callaway on Monday.
