Carol Jane Gilman Marshall, 86, of Fulton was called to her Heavenly home on Monday, Dec. 27, 2021.
She was born on Sept. 1, 1935, to the late James C. Gilman and the late Lela May (Love) Gilman.
On Jan. 13, 1954, she was united in marriage to Eddie Gene Marshall who preceded her in death on April 3, 2002.
Carol was an active member of Southside Baptist Church and loved sharing her faith in God with others. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and treasured time with her family.
Carol will be greatly missed by her family, including her daughters, Brenda Crowe (Ron) of Fulton, and Tammy Bartley (Noland) of Fulton; grandchildren, Krissy Windmann (Andy), Tucker Bartley (Elise), Courtney Soltvedt (Ryan), Caralee Brush (Dana), and Grady Bartley (Mackenzie); and great-grandchildren, Jenetta Solvedt, Gwynn Bartley, Kennedy Soltvedt, Kendra Windmann, Annabelle Bartley, Marshall Bartley, Larna Windmann, Grayson Bartley, and Charlotte Bartley.
Along with her parents and husband, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Anderson; and sister-in-law, Ruth Gilman.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with Rev. Guy Thomas officiating. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
