Charles L. Klusman, 90, of Mexico, passed away at 9:55 a.m., Friday, Aug. 6, 2021, at Monroe Manor in Paris.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Stanford officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Charles was born in Mexico on Sept. 22, 1930, the son of August and Osia (Yostmayer) Klusman. On Sept. 22, 1951, in Mexico, he married Shirley Ann Weakly, who survives.

Mr. Klusman worked for Consolidated Electric for 34 years. He also farmed most of his life including numerous years with his father. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, carpentry, woodworking and bowling. Whether large or small, his hands were always busy with a project.

In addition to his wife Shirley, survivors include one son, James H. Klusman (Louise), of Mexico; two daughters, Jo Ann Wilkerson, of Fulton, and Sherry Ann Hoover (Kenneth), of Mexico; five grandchildren, Lindsay Isgrig, of Mexico, Christina Seidler (Brad), of Manhattan, Kan., Arlina Klusman, of Oswego, Kan., Brittney Vermillion (Jeremy), of Cowgill, and Jesse Woolfolk, of Mexico; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant brother, August Leslie Klusman; and one son-in-law, Steven Wilkerson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
