Five people are in custody facing drug charges after law enforcement officers acted on a warrant search in the 400 block of East Orange Street in Mexico on Thursday morning.
Renea Hill, Courtney Harper, Cheyenne Hicks and Hayden Sample of Mexico, along with Kevin Olsson of Perry taken to the Audrain County Jail after authorities located methamphetamine and heroin at the property.
Members of the East Central Drug Task Force, assisted by the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office and Mexico Department of Public Safety also found items commonly used in the distribution of drugs during the search.
Hill faces charges of delivery of a controlled substance, along with possession of drug paraphernalias. Olsson, Hicks and Sample face possession charges.
Harper was arrested for possession, but also has outstanding warrants from Audrain and Callaway counties.
Formal charges are being prepared by the Audrain County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
