First State Community Bank has been ranked Forbes 2021 Best-In-State Bank for the state of Missouri. The distinguished honor recognizes FSCB as a leader in the financial industry and a trusted partner in local communities.
Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to gauge whose customers gave their banks the highest grades. To determine results, Forbes and Statista surveyed nearly 25,000 customers in the U.S. for their opinions on their current and former banking relationships. They scored financial institutions on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as five subdimensions.
Located at 222 South Jefferson, the Mexico branch shares the philosophy of all its sister branches that helped garner recognition.
“We know who our customers are when they walk in,” said market business manager/assistant vice president, Josh Frantz. “We call them by name.”
The Mexico branch has six employees who are active in the community, with members involved in efforts like the Jaycees, Rotary, Altrusa and The Help Center.
Founded in 1954, FSCB has over 50 branches and is based in Farmington.
