The 2021 Audrain Historical Society’s history camp will be held from Monday, June 21 through Friday, June 25, 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day.
`Happy 200 Birthday Missouri’ will be this year’s camp theme to celebrate the bicentennial of Missouri and reflect on the great state of Missouri, it’s rich history, resilient and diverse people, and varied landscapes. Campers will actively learn about Missouri through cooking, living history, storytelling, science, arts and crafts, guest educators, reenactments, and recreation.
History camp is open to children that have completed the grades 3 through 5. Cost is $50 and is limited to the first 48 registrants. Some scholarships are available.
Registration begins Tuesday April 6, for Audrain County Historical Society members at Graceland Museum located at 501 S. Muldrow. It will then open to the public starting Tuesday April 13, during regular business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. Registration ends Saturday, May 8.
