Laurie D. Cox, 55, of Columbia, died Monday, June 20, 2022, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born on Feb. 19, 1967, in Fresno, Calif.
She is survived by her children, Donlon McGovern of Columbia, and Lauren McGovern of Columbia; her father, Ted Cox, and his wife, Karen, of Clark; her mother, Marjorie Cox, of Arnold; three sisters, Tracy Lanes of Maryland Heights; Teddi Schwartze of Arnold; and Josie Niemira of St. Charles; one stepsister, Jesse Galve of Arlington, Va.; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
