Funeral services for Lonnie Terry, 85, of Vandalia, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb 20, 2021 at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Vandalia with Rev. Bob Balwantz officiating.

Burial will be in Farber Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Terry passed away at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 14, at Country View Nursing Facility in Bowling Green.

She was born in Benton City on April 28, 1935, the daughter of Lonie and Charity Angeline Meeks-Morgan Owen. She married Charles Franklin Terry in Mexico on June 25, 1954 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 1992.

Survivors include two sons, Chris (Brenda) Terry, of Laddonia and Brad Terry, of Moberly; 11 grandchildren, Eric Parks, Courtney James, David Terry, Amber Terry, Gabe Terry, Braxton Terry, Robyn Terry, Liana McCauley, Kelli Wilson, Destiny Hardey, and Rebecca Terry; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa Hudson; one son, Brian Terry; four sisters, Frances E. Quisenberry, Charity Vance, Lela Hull and Wanda Spires; and two brothers, William Giles and Gilbert Giles.

Mrs. Terry was a lifetime resident and member of Farber Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, collecting antiques and going to auctions. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David Terry, Eric Parks, Keith Pease, Jimmy Robinson, William McCauley and Austin Parks. Honorary pallbearers will be Braxton Terry and Amber Terry.
