Mark E. Penn, 70, of Kingdom City, passed away on May 22, 2021, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday May 28, at the Auxvasse Christian Church in Auxvasse with Rev. Heather Patten officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12 noon until service time at the church. Burial of cremains will follow at the Auxvasse Cemetery. Arnold Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Mark was born in Mexico, on Feb. 5, 1951, the son of Marshall E. and Reba A. (Meador) Penn. On Aug. 31, 2002, in Columbia, he married Janet Becker who preceded him in death on Oct. 9, 2012.

Mark was a graduate of North Callaway High School where he was a member of FFA and 4-H. He served for six years in the National Guard.

He spent his entire life working in agriculture. Over the last 26 years he had worked at Henderson, Wieberg, and Ennis Implement. For many years he also was a full time farmer, and for several years he sold crop insurance. He served for 12 years on the state board for Missouri Pork Producers and was regional vice president for two years.

His hobbies included collecting iris flowers, listening to country music, and he attended numerous concerts with his daughter.

He was a member of Faith Family Church of Fayette and the Auxvasse Christian Church in Auxvasse.

His survivors include one daughter, Amy Lindemann (Jason), of Wentzville; one brother, Roger Penn, of Mexico; two grandchildren, Alexis and Gavin Lindemann; one great-grandchild, Lincoln Saleh; several sisters and brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife Janet, he was preceded in death by his parents.
