Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Thursday, Dec. 8:
Suspicious activity on East Holt.
Domestic verbal incidents at South Missouri and on Yale.
Trespassing at East Holt.
An intoxicated person driving on South Clark.
A careless and imprudent driver at South Clark.
Car accidents:
A one car accident reported on Thursday, Dec. 8, in the 1600 block of East Liberty at 7:20 p.m. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 75-year-old Brenda C. Smith, of Mexico was traveling east on East Liberty and attempted to turn right into a parking lot. The vehicle turned too soon and hit a ditch. No injuries were reported.
A two car accident on Morris/Boulevard on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 4:57 p.m. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Kyle Jennings of Mexico was stopped at a stop sign and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Tyler Phillips of Mexico. No injuries were reported.
