The Missouri Military Academy wrestling team finished the regular season with a bang on Monday.
In their final action before the district meet Jan. 17-18 at Lafayette County in Higginsville, the Colonels defeated California 54-27 and Stover 81-0 in a California tri meet for their school-record 17th dual win in a season.
Five Colonels earned two pinfall victories each, including Ryan Miles at 132 pounds, Trae Griffiths at 144, Bryson Powell at 150, Gabe Canonico at 157 and Blake Krull at 165.
Matthew Pfeifer, Alex Snyder and Evan Corley each picked up a victory as well.
