On Sunday, May 14, the Mexico Public Safety Department learned of two burglaries which had occurred at businesses during the early morning hours. Video evidence indicates that at approximately 4:40 a.m., a white male broke a door of a business in the 100 block of S. Washington, entered, and stole a small amount of money. At approximately 5:30 a.m. the same person did the same thing at a business in the 2700 block of S. Clark, again only getting a small amount of money. The suspect was in a dark SUV, similar to a Jeep Liberty, which was being driven by someone else.
