Pamela Lee Freeman received her angel wings at her home surrounded by family after a long and hard fought battle with Breast Cancer on Saturday, July 17, 2021.

Pam was born on Dec. 29, 1954 to Alfred A. Stegeman and Mardelle G. (Stone) Stegeman, in Mexico.

Pam attended St. Brendan’s Catholic School and Mexico High School. After school she went into nursing, working first at AMC Hospital and then onto Pin Oaks Nursing Home. The last few years she spent doing private nursing at Teal Lake Assisted Living, private homes, and the Veterans Home. She fell in love with all the people she tended to.

Pam was a Kansas City Chiefs fan especially of Patrick Mahomes, and she loved Cardinals Baseball. She also loved music and being with her family which meant the world to her. She was a collector of angels and cardinals.

Pam was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be dearly missed but will always be in our hearts with love and many special memories to cherish. She touched many lives with her caring smile.

She was married to Steve Freeman on Aug. 9, 2006 of who survives; she is also survived by two sons, Michael (Lisa) Clayton, and Brian Pargeon; and three grandsons, Anthony Clayton, Gunner Pargeon, and Stryker Pargeon all of Las Vegas, Nev.

Also surviving are three stepchildren Ashley VanBunnen, Amber Freeman, and Brock Freeman. Three step-grandchildren Riley, Alayna, and Leighanna and her mother-in-law Donna Robinson. Two brothers, Mike (Jan) Stegeman, Randy (Stacey) Stegeman; and one sister, Sarah (Bobby) Meador; two nephews, Robert (Ginger) Meador and Brad (Sherry) Stegeman; three great nephews, Dakota and Kane Stegeman and Tristan Salmons; and two great nieces, Mirenda Stegeman and Brooklynn Salmons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her very special sister Sandra Dee Stegeman, and her two dogs, Cuddles and Toby Mac.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on July 20, at Arnold Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. on July 21.
