Pansy was born Oct. 13, 1930 in Stover, to Noie Dell and Dada Levatta Roark.

She married Charles Chester Gish in June 1951. They were beloved parents of six children.

Pansy was a wonderful mother, wife and homemaker. She worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory until it closed. Then she became an Avon Lady extraordinaire for over 35 years. She was civic-minded, a Cub Scout, Brownie and Girl Scout leader for several years.

She loved her family and everyone she met.

One of Mom’s  favorite things was dancing with Dad and friends all over the state. Mom also enjoyed watching her stray chicken eat on the porch with squirrels and other birds.

Our mother showed us how to be patient and strong with grace and love throughout her life as well as through her fight with multiple bouts of cancer and chronic anemia for several years.

Pansy is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chester Gish; son, Charles Eugene Gish; daughter Carolyn Sue Shuch; grandson Tony Dale Gish; and son-in-law, John Clayton Krupp.
