Folks can find out at Scattering fork Outdoor Center Sunday.
Guests can walk the trails forage for themselves. Roots, leaves, blooms are growing wild but are tasty and easy to gather. Recipes will be available too.
Additionally, there will be a tasting party, as guests can choose from four or five wild greens to make and eat their own salad. Among foods available will be violet, wild plum, elderberry and other wild jellies.
The event is free, $2 donations are welcome. Scattering Fork is located at 15640 Audrain Rd 815. For more information, call 573-581 3003.
