A familiar face is returning to the Mexico School District.
Brandon Schafer will take over the role as activities director and assistant principal at the Mexico High School starting in July.
Schafer previously worked in the Mexico District as principal at Hawthorne Elementary for five years.
Last year he served as the primary principal at the Ralls County Elementary School.
Schafer takes over for Travis Blevins who is leaving to become the head coach of the North Callaway football team.
