On Friday, Aug. 27 and Saturday, Aug. 28, the Mexico Jaycees will host the 2021 Soybean Festival. And this year’s event - which was cancelled last year - promises something for everyone. Among highlights, is a new and exciting event to bring interactive entertainment and fun to all ages called, “Things That Go” on Saturday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. This event will bring unique vehicles to historic downtown Mexico such as a Fire Truck and Police Car, Heavy Equipment and Tractors to name a few which will give patrons a chance to see these vehicles up close.
Vendors, live entertainment, a cornhole tournament, the beer garden, a car and truck meet, and the parade will all return as well.
