No injuries have been reported following a train derailment in Paris, Thursday, Nov. 17.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol it happened around 11 a.m. when a Norfolk Southern train hit a semi-truck that was pulling an oversized load that entered the crossing on Main street.
The driver of the truck was able to get out before the accident and the conductor of train was not injured according to several reports.
Around fix to six box cars derailed. The train was carrying grain, car parts and car frames according to a spokesperson for Norfolk.
