Author Raymond Scott Edge will present “The Silk Road of China” at 10 a.m. Friday, May 27 at the Mexico Public Library. A resident of Montgomery City, Edge has traveled to China over two dozen times and will share his personal experiences and photos.
Edge is the author of several textbooks on health-care ethics and law and since his retirement he has pursued his passion for regional history and culture. His works include Flight of the Piasa, Witches of Cahokia and the Last Witch of Cahokia, which are the first three books of a fiction series based on actual Mississippi River archaeological sites and artifacts.
The engagement will be held in the library’s lower level, 305 W. Jackson St., Mexico.
