Jane A. Travlos, 61, and John S. Travlos, 61, both of Ashland both sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17 on Route T at Audrain County Road 225.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident occured when the trailer brakes on the northbound 2001 Dodge 2500, driven by John L. Johnson, 52, of Sturgeon, wasn't functioning which caused the Dodge to be unable to stop at a stop sign.
The Dodge entered the path of the eastbound 2014 Ford Fusion, driven by Jane, causing her to strike the towed unit behind Johnson. The Dodge received minor damage and was released to the family; the Fusion was totaled and towed from the scene.
Everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Jane and John were treated at the scene for their injuries.
