Stephanie A. Weinpert, 52, and Tashana M. Hagnas, 39, both of Vandalia were transported to Audrain County Community Hospital by ambulance after a UTV accident at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Weinpert was driving a 2021 Yamaha Wolverine northbound on Audrain County Road 563, a half mile south of Vandalia, when she lost control, traveled off the right side of the road, and struck a ditch. Neither were wearing a seatbelt at the time. Weinpert’s injuries were minor while Hagnas received moderate injuries. The Yamaha sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
