A 15-year-old juvenile female and a 4-year-old juvenile male sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident Sunday, June 5. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the 1982 Honda three-wheeler, driven by the 15-year-old, was navigating around obstacles in a yard at 17684 Route FF, Audrain County.
The driver lost control and the northeast bound three-wheeler collided with a parked 1979 Mark Twain boat and trailer. The 15-year-old, of Mexico, was ejected and sustained moderate injuries; the 4-year-old sustained serious injuries.
Both were taken to University Hospital by Audrain County ambulance. Time of the accident was 12:40 p.m.
