The Eastern Missouri Conference Meet was held Saturday at the Pike County Fairgrounds outside of Bowling Green.
Van-Far did not have enough runners to score as a team, but did have five who competed.
In the boys race, Fulton Walsh finished in 40th in 22:41.48. Ennis Childs followed in 41st in 22:54.10 and Skyler Penley placed 45th in 24:41.73.
Montgomery County junior Dawson McCown captured the individual title in 17:00.16. Tristin Webb of North Callaway followed in second in 17:46. Bowling Green won the team crown with 35 points, easily distancing itself from runner-up North Callaway (69) and Wellsville-Middletown (90).
In the girls race, Van-Far had two runners. Madelynn Caldwell placed 30th in 25:13.92, while Alayna Bryan followed in 39th in 30:09.64.
Montgomery County sophomore Lyric Ford won the individual title in 19:33.34. Her teammate, freshman Malia Rodgers, was runner-up in 20:13.25.
North Callaway won the team crown with 33 points, led by Kaleigh Moore, who finished fourth in 21:07.82.
