Zachary D. Utterback, 30, of Vandalia, died in a one-vehicle accident on Tuesday, Aug. 31 at 1:53 p.m. on Route P three miles northwest of Vandalia, in Ralls County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol the accident occured when the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Utterback, was northbound and failed to negotiate a curve, running off the left side of the road, overturning numerous times, ejecting Utterback who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Waters Funeral Home.
