Christmas grew a little closer last Wednesday, as Mexico’s Village Square Association (VSA) hosted their Magic Tree Lighting ceremony on the Audrain County Courthouse square. Fairytale Events had a hot cocoa stand with cocoa provided by Color Me Bleu and cookies were served. Melody's Jewelry joined in the holiday celebration, handing out elf shirts for the kids and Mayor Chris Miller assisted with festivities with a special dedication. [Photos by Eric Mattson]
