Jason T. Cochran, 45, of Auxvasse, was transported to University Hospital for moderate injuries he sustained during a one-vehicle accident on Wednesday, Dec. 22 on Highway 54 near Callaway County Road 110.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when the eastbound 2001 Toyota Corolla, driven by Cochran, struck a deer causing it to go through the windshield. The Corolla was totaled and towed from the scene. Time of the accident was 5:18 p.m.
