Centralia's Round Table reopens

Posted

If you have visited the Round Table in Centralia, you know it is a family restaurant that is run by family.

Father Jimmy Imeri, along with his wife Rabjie, and his sons Dino, and Bucki do all of the cooking. Jimmy and his family moved to Centralia from Chicago and opened the Roundtable in November, 2009. Jimmy says "My family and I settled in Centralia, because we love this town and the community."

The business was going great. Jimmy and the family decided to take some time off and visit their old country in Macedonia in July 2018. Macedonia is located in Southeast Europe. Shortly into the visit COVID-19 hit the world and made it nearly impossible to travel back. As travel restrictions eased, Jimmy came back to Centralia and reopened his restaurant on September 9, 2022.

Jimmy said "This is home. One of the biggest changes this time around is the food prices going higher due to inflation. We still offer daily specials that are homemade and soups made from scratch. We have about 15 employees and are still looking to hire more waitresses."

The Round Table is located at 937 East Highway 22 in Centralia. It is open Sunday from 7am until 3 p.m. And Monday through Saturday from 7am until 9 p.m.
