David Lee Coil, 81, of Benton City, passed away at his home on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.
David was born on Feb. 26, 1939, in Mexico, the son of Carson and Lottie Coil. He married Nancy Deichman on Feb. 16, 1963.
David worked at A.P. Green for over 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking, collecting coins, trains and going on road trips. David loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two daughters, Angie Britton of Mexico and Teresa Hoggard of Virginia Falls, Va.; six grandchildren, Tiffany Cochrane of Laddonia, Andrew Britton (Sara Moore) of Laddonia,
Chris Britton of Mexico, Jessica (Mark) Dillard of Irmo, S.C., Gregory Hoggard of Va., and Maurice Hoggard of Va.; nine great-grandchildren, Briana Cochrane, Iann Cochrane, Karley Britton, Madison Hugo, Jermaine Thompson, Austin McCloskey, Alyssa McCloskey, Alexis McCloskey and Andrew McCloskey; and ex-wife, Nancy Coil.
David is preceded in death by great-granddaughter, Trinity; four brothers, Carson, Lewis, George and Marvin Coil; and one sister, Wanda Salmons.
