Donald R. “Sammy” Brooks, Jr., 48, Sturgeon, passed away from an accident at work on Nov. 25, 2020 at the University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics.
He is survived by his wife, Christi (Acton) Brooks; one son, Evan Brooks of Ozark; two daughters, Celeste Pistole of Kansas City, Mo., and Courtney Remus-Smith of Columbia; his parents, Donald and Beverly Brooks of Sturgeon; two brothers, David Anthony Gayland Brooks of Sturgeon, and Colby Matthew Ryan Brooks of Sturgeon; three sisters, Lisa Rose Marie of Columbia, Lila Raye Michele Sloan of Salt Lake City, Utah, and other relatives and friends.
Private family funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at the Sturgeon Methodist Church in Sturgeon. Oliver Funeral Home, Centralia, was in charge of arrangements.
