Elizabeth Ann Baker Miller, 97, of Montgomery City, died at 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at St. Andrews of New Florence in New Florence.

Elizabeth Ann Baker Miller was born April 25, 1923, in Montgomery County to Edward Clay Baker and Pansy Jones Baker. Beth graduated from Montgomery City High School, the Class of 1941, and later married Burt White Miller in 1941 in St. Charles. They were married over 61 wonderful years until he preceded her in death on May 6, 2002. Burt and Beth lived on the farm where Burt was born and together, they ran a dairy and grain farm for 44 years. Beth was a member of the First United Methodist-Presbyterian Church in Montgomery City, member of the Ladies Group at Church; and a member of the Faithful Helpers Extension Club. She worked hard, enjoyed sewing, cooking, taking polaroid pictures, working with her flowers, working on needlepoint, and loved her dog.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her two sons: Robert Miller and wife, Karen, of Montgomery City; Mike Miller and wife, Kandies, of Troy; two daughters: Betty Schipper of Wellsville; and Susan Schroer of New Florence; grandchildren: Allen Robinson and wife, Stephanie of Paris; Ed Robinson and wife, Tammy, of Wellsville; Chris Robinson and wife, Marcia of Jefferson City, and Burt James Miller and wife, Dawn, Leslie West and husband, Ryan; Carla Parker and husband, Chris, and Scott Schroer and wife, Michelle, all of Montgomery City; Joshua Miller and wife, Natalie, of Moscow Mills; Elizabeth Miller of Moscow Mills; and Samuel Miller of Kentucky; great-grandchildren: Lacey Fahrmeier and husband, Brad; Kera Morton and husband, Darren; Layne Robinson and wife, Mallory; Lindsey, Will, Katelyn, Lauren, and Annie Robinson; Carson, Collin and Clayton Parker; Hannah, Ann, Carie, and Addie Schroer; Madison West; Renee Black and husband, Clancy; Price, Elijah, Alia, Rachael, Kylie, Jada, Drake and Brinley Robinson; Bailey, Andrew, and Rylee Miller; great-great-grandchildren, Elijah, JaLee, and Boston Morton; sister-in-law, Marge Oliver Miller of Montgomery City; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Burt White Miller; one daughter, Barbara Miller; two sons-in-law, Maurice Schipper and Carl Schroer; and one brother, George Dougal Baker and wife, Margaret; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Franklin Miller and wife, Mildred; Margaret Kruse and husbands, Sheldon Gourley and Walter Kruse; Flemon Miller and wife, Katherine; Anna Gourley and husband, Shade, and Helen Myers and husband, Bill.

A social distancing “Drive Thru Visitation/Farewell Parade” will be held from 1 until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Burt and Beth Miller farm, 66 Miller Road, Montgomery City. It is asked that people enter by Long Road, turn right at Miller Road and exit at Highway 19.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions to the following Montgomery Cemetery Memorial Trust Fund or to the First United Methodist Presbyterian Church, in care of Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, MO 63361.
