Elliott Rice D.D.S. is back in his hometown and has joined his dad practicing dentistry at Rice Family Dentistry at 703 Medical Park Drive.
Elliot the son of Dr. Elwood Rice and Liz Rice and started seeing patients in May. Elliot says "I set a goal in elementary school of becoming a dentist and returning to my hometown to practice dentistry. When I was in Mrs. Becker's class at Hawthorne Elementary we wrote an autobiography. Mine was about wanting to be a dentist. I even made fake patient folders as a child when practicing to be a dentist. Mom and dad asked me to shadow every other career before dentistry. Eventually I went to the University of Missouri-Columbia and received a B.S. in Biochemistry. I attended Liberty University and earned an M.S. in Biomedical Sciences. And earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. On my first date with my wife Ashleigh, I asked her about how she felt about living in Mexico. Thankfully she said that would be fine. I love Mexico it is a neat place to live."
His wife Ashleigh also works at the office.
Dr. Elwood Rice has been practicing for 40 years. Elliott will be taking over the business in the future. Elliott says he is accepting new patients and for availability give him a call at (573) 581-7660.
