First State Community Bank set to have a new location

First State Community Bank (FSCB) recently announced the construction of a new location in Mexico, at the intersection of Business 54 and Liberty Street. Construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2022, pending regulatory approval.

“It has been an honor to be part of this community for almost a decade,” said Ron Hopkins, president of the FSCB Mexico. “We are confident this new location will provide better accessibility and convenience for our customers. Providing quality customer care is important to us, and this new location will help us provide that at an even higher level moving forward.”

FSCB is a full-service financial institution with a variety of loan and deposit products and services. FSCB is owned and operated by First State Bancshares, Inc., a financial services holding company based in Farmington. The bank also owns First State Insurance Agency (FSIA), a full-service independent insurance agency. Investment and brokerage services are available through First State Financial Management, Inc. (FSFM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of First State Bancshares, Inc.

For more information about the new Mexico location, call Ron Hopkins at 573-473-1100.
