Several girls from grades third through sixth had the chance to learn the basics of volleyball last week from July 10-14 at the Mexico Area Family YMCA, whether they were beginners or experienced. Two groups consisting of the third- and fourth-graders and then fifth- and sixth-graders ran through various drills to begin and continue developing their skills and played scrimmages to apply these skills.
