Friends and Family Veterans Support Organization Inc. hosted a Mother’s Day hanging basket sale Friday and Saturday at the East Edge Express Station, Mexico. Sales were brisk, with all proceeds benefiting local veterans. For those missing the first round, there’s still hope: the group will hold another this Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon.
