Jackie Lee “Jack” Karhoff, 73, of Auxvasse passed away at his home on Thursday, June 24, 2021.
He was born in Edina, on March 12, 1948 to the late James Karhoff and the late Louise (Aucutt) Karhoff.
On June 14, 1969, Jack married Pamela (Parsons) Karhoff who survives his passing.
For 30 years, Jack worked for A.P. Green where he was known as “The Hammer”. He then worked for Callaway County Road and Bridge Department until his retirement. Jack was an extremely social person and never met a stranger. He loved visiting with everyone, talking on the phone, and could often be found taking the kids on golf cart rides. His hobbies included camping, attending tractor pulls, and watching the Cardinals and Chiefs games. Jack was a family man and enjoyed the time spent with them.
He will be fondly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Pam; sons, Jackie Karhoff (Lana) of Auxvasse, and Shawn Karhoff (Michelle) of Auxvasse; daughter, Nicole Karhoff (Jade Edwards) of Auxvasse; sisters, Bebe Harris of Mexico, Marsha Chism (John) of Mexico, Minnie Childress of Edina, and Peggy Shahan of Clark; sister in-law, Carla Karhoff of Auxvasse; grandchildren, Travis Karhoff (Channing), Brittany Cramer (Adam) Austin Edwards, and Zach Edwards; great-grandchildren, Oaklee Karhoff, Kasen Karhoff, Rowan Karhoff, and on the way, Sage Jack Karhoff, Owen Cramer, Bryor Cramer, Adaleigh Jo Cramer; and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James “Junior” Karhoff Jr. and Larry Karhoff; sister, Margie Aucutt; and his beloved dogs.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Kevin Wilkerson officiating. Friends will be received from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Auxvasse Cemetery.
