The Mexico Ledger was recently honored in the 2022 Missouri Press Advertising and Marketing Executives Best Ad Contest.
Production manager Scott Dupree and general manager Nathan Lilley received third place in the Best Ad Smaller Than a Quarter Page category. Both staff members were honored for an ad created for the Moose Lodge barbecue.
Dupree and Lilley also were selected for two honorable mention awards for Best Ad Smaller Than a Full Page (A Marked Salon) and Best Full Page Ad (Mark Twain Lake Jellystone Park).
The awards were presented last month at the MPAME annual meeting held at the Lake of the Ozarks.
