MainStreet Mexico is calling on all residents to participate in a community survey aimed at gathering input on the future of the downtown area. This initiative is part of a broader effort to revitalize the heart of the city and create a vibrant, welcoming space for everyone.
The survey, which is open to all community members, seeks to capture a wide range of ideas and opinions. Topics include preferred types of businesses, desired public amenities, and suggestions for enhancing the overall aesthetics and functionality of the downtown area.
"We believe that the best way to create a downtown that reflects the needs and desires of our community is to hear directly from our residents," said Amy O’Brien, Director of Economic Development. "This survey is a crucial step in ensuring that the revitalization process is inclusive and representative of the diverse voices within our town."
Residents can access the survey online using the link https://forms.office.com/r/n6fcF44RWC OR scan the QR Code and it will take you right to the survey. The survey will be open for submissions until August 23, 2024.
MainStreet Mexico plans to use the survey results to develop a comprehensive revitalization plan that will be presented to the city council later this year.
